Three Different Levels of Consciousness Area (The Progressive Ego Area, The progressive Mind Area, and The Progressive Divinity Area)

Spiritual Science Explorers. There are three progressive areas of consciousness contained in David R Hawkins' Map of Consciousness. Let's study the three progressive areas

The Progressive Ego Area

The progressive ego area refers to a level of consciousness where individuals are focused on personal achievement, recognition, and success. At this level, people are motivated by their ego and the desire to prove themselves to others. They may engage in competitive behaviors and see themselves as separate from others.

According to David R. Hawkins, the progressive ego area is a level of consciousness that represents a significant shift from the lower levels of consciousness associated with survival and the satisfaction of basic needs. It is a stage of development that marks the beginning of a spiritual awakening, where individuals become more aware of their interconnectedness with others and the world around them.

At the progressive ego level, individuals begin to recognize that their thoughts, emotions, and actions have an impact on those around them, and they seek to make positive changes in their own lives and the lives of others. They become more altruistic and compassionate, recognizing that service to others is a meaningful way to live.

Hawkins notes that this stage of development is characterized by a shift from a materialistic and self-centered worldview to a more spiritual and expansive one. Individuals in this stage often seek out teachings and practices that help them connect with their inner selves and a higher power. They may explore meditation, prayer, or other spiritual practices in order to deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them.

The progressive ego area is seen as a stepping stone towards higher levels of consciousness, as individuals continue to grow and evolve in their understanding of themselves and the world. Hawkins emphasizes the importance of recognizing that this is a process, and that growth and development take time and effort. However, he also notes that it is a worthwhile and rewarding journey that can lead to greater peace, joy, and fulfillment in life.

The Progressive Mind Area

The progressive mind area, on the other hand, refers to a level of consciousness where individuals begin to shift their focus from the ego to the mind. At this level, people start to value intelligence, knowledge, and creativity over personal achievement. They may become more interested in learning, problem-solving, and contributing to society.

According to David R. Hawkins, the progressive mind area is a higher level of consciousness beyond the level of the ego. It is associated with the experience of higher values such as truth, peace, and love. Individuals in this level of consciousness are characterized by an open-mindedness and a willingness to consider multiple perspectives. They are able to recognize and appreciate the interconnectedness of all things, and they possess an intuitive understanding of the underlying unity of the universe. Hawkins believed that the progressive mind area is associated with individuals who have reached the level of the spiritual seeker, who are on the path towards enlightenment and the realization of their true nature as spiritual beings.

The Progressive Divinity Area

The progressive divinity area is the highest level of consciousness according to Hawkins. At this level, individuals transcend the ego and the mind and experience a sense of oneness with everything in the universe. People at this level are motivated by love, compassion, and a desire to serve others. They see the interconnectedness of all things and have a deep understanding of the spiritual nature of reality.

According to David R. Hawkins, the Progressive Divinity Area is the level of consciousness where individuals have transcended the human ego and experience a sense of oneness with all of creation. At this level, individuals have a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of all things and experience a deep sense of inner peace and love.

In this area of consciousness, individuals no longer identify with their personal desires and needs, but instead align with the highest good of all beings. Hawkins describes this level as one of transcendence and spiritual awakening, where the individual experiences a merging with the divine and a sense of unity consciousness.

Individuals who reach this level of consciousness often become spiritual leaders and teachers, dedicating their lives to helping others awaken to their own divinity. They may also engage in humanitarian work and social activism, using their understanding of the interconnectedness of all things to promote peace, harmony, and well-being in the world.
